We think you will agree with our many positives, a few of which are:
"I am writing to express my appreciation for all that you do for us here at the Residences of Old Town Hall. We moved to Rochester in order to receive life-saving medical treatment for my husband. It was very overwhelming to leave our family and friends back in North Dakota and start all over here in Rochester. We have found not just a place to stay, but a community.
Jody has been fantastic, helping us to become oriented to the area, being friendly and available anytime we have needed anything at all. Matt is always friendly and fixes anything that needs fixing right away. Even though we have only been here for a few months, we already have a wonderful circle of friends here at Old Town Hall.
"I have met some very nice people here. Everything is included in the rent but a phone. There is a free Walmart shuttle service. Location - close to most of the clinics, Mayo, Gonda, are all within walking distance.
The owner of the building is very nice. The manager Jody is very outgoing, very thoughtful, supporting, caring and knows all the tenants. She is willing and ready to help with any problems. Matt the maintenance man is very helpful if needed for any reason. He is a very nice young man. Very good at everything he does. "
Our building was built in 1966 by American Town Hall Meeting Association and was a senior care facility until 2001. The building was completely renovated by Jeff Allman in 2007 into the current 66 unit SRO apartment building.
SROs (Single Room Occupancy) are a viable housing option for students, single tenants, seasonal or other traveling workers, empty nester widows/widowers, or others who do not desire or require large dwellings or private domestic appliances. The smaller size of SROs generally makes them a more affordable housing option.
